Cryosurgery

cryosurgery

Cryosurgery is a procedure in which an extremely cold liquid or a device called a cryoprab is used to freeze and destroy abnormal tissues. A cryoprobe is cooled with a substance such as liquid nitrogen, liquid nitrous oxide, or infected argon gas. Cryosurgery can be used to treat certain types of cancer. Cryosurgery is also called cryoblation and cryotherapy.

Applied cryogenic agents or gases are used to freeze diseased parts in this method-

How to use

  • Crogan is used to spraying liquid nitrogen.
  • Liquid nitrogen is applied directly to the cancer cells of the external tumor with a needle, cotton, or sprayed instrument.
  • In the case of internal tumors, liquid nitrogen or cryogenic agents are performed in contact with the tumor with a hollow device called a cryoprobe. In this case, doctors use an ultrasound or MRI.
  • Care is taken to control the cryoprobe tumor and to monitor the clotted cells so that the surrounding fine tissues are not damaged.

How cryotherapy or cryosurgery works

This procedure first detects diseased cells or tissues using ultrasound or MRI instruments. Various cryogenic agents such as liquid argon gas are then applied to the diseased cells with the help of cryoprobes or imaging devices. As a result, the temperature of the cell drops to -120 to -175 degrees Celsius in 10-12 seconds. Due to the extreme drop in temperature, the water in the cell freezes, and the tissue turns into ice. Tissue damage occurs when the blood and oxygen supply to the icecaps is cut off. The temperature is raised from 20oc to 40oc by emitting helium gas inside the cell with the help of a re-imaging device. Then the ice of the frozen cell or tissue melts and the cell or tissue is destroyed.

Purpose of use

1) Cryosurgery is used in the treatment of small skin tumors, sesame, Achilles, mechta, skin cancer.
2) Cryosurgery also treats some internal diseases such as liver cancer, prostate cancer, lung cancer, oral cancer, cervical disorders, piles cancer, breast cancer, etc.
3) Soft tissue condition of human body is treated with Plantar Fasciitis and Fibroma cryosurgery. is used in the treatment of small skin tumors, sesame, Achilles, mechta, skin cancer.
2) Cryosurgery also treats some internal diseases such as liver cancer, prostate cancer, lung cancer, oral cancer, cervical disorders, piles cancer, breast cancer, etc.
3) Soft tissue condition of human body is treated with Plantar Fasciitis and Fibroma cryosurgery.

Advantages of cryosurgery

  • The advantage of cryosurgery is that it can be done repeatedly.
  • It is less painful than normal surgery.
  • Cryosurgery is less expensive than other treatments.
  • In this method, when the temperature is lowered below freezing, the blood moves away from the affected area and the blood vessels constrict, resulting in no bleeding, but very little.
  • This method has fewer side effects than conventional chemotherapy or radiotherapy and various surgeries.

Disadvantages of cryosurgery

  • This method can lead to damage to healthy cells if the location is not accurately identified and cryosurgery is used to identify diseased cells or tissues.
  • It has some side effects, but hopefully, the side effects are temporary.
  • Treatment of skin cancer Cryosurgery results in swelling of the skin, damage to nerves, decreased sensitivity.
  • Side effects occur only in those who have prostate gland problems.

Cryosurgical systems

A number of medical service delivery companies have developed cryogen supply methods for cryosurgery. Much of this is based on liquid nitrogen use. Some commonly used cryosurgical products are:

There was a fascination with technology from a very young age, and perhaps that fascination is a little more than other ordinary people. From Nokia's button phones to infinity display bezel-less smartphones, everything is my favorite. Technology has never been more impressive in my life. And writing started with an interest in this technology .....
